2010 Johnson Creek Run for The Parks: 5K Run / Walk

The third annual Johnson Creek Run for the Parks 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Firemans Park (417 Union Street).

All proceeds from this event will be used for park improvements and recreational opportunities in Johnson Creek.

Schedule

• 7:00 am: Registration starts at the Johnson Creek Community Center. All registrants will receive a souvenir bag and t-shirt.


• 8:00 am: The race starts and will run through the rolling streets of the Village.
  Walkers are welcome, too!


• 9:00 am: The 1/4 mile Kids Dash (ages 4 - 10) will be held immediately following the conclusion of the 5K Run.


• 9:30 am: Awards will be presented and then a pancake breakfast will be held.

Awards

• Medals will be issued to the top 3 male and female runners in each age group in the main 5K race.


• Participation ribbons will be issued to all Kids Dash racers with the top boy and girl in each age group winning a gift card from Nike Clearance Store.


• No awards will be issued for walkers.
